COM Port Redirector

Mit dem COM Port Redirector können sie bis zu 255 serielle Geräte über ein Netzwerk freigeben und ihren Computer in einen Terminal-Server verwandeln. Mit dieser Lösung kann jedes Gerät, welches am COM Port des Rechners angeschlossen ist überall auf der Welt angesprochen werden, als ob es direkt am lokalen Rechner angeschlossen wäre. Die Daten, welche vom seriellen Gerät gesendet werden, werden über ein TCP/IP Netzwerk übertragen. Dies wird Dank unserer virtuellen seriellen Port-Technologie erreicht, die standard COM Ports emuliert. Windows behandelt die virtuellen Ports wie die Echten. Obwohl die Ports wie physikalische Ports behandelt werden ist ihre Zahl nicht auf die Anzahl von physikalischen COM Ports begrenzt und sie können COM Port Verbindungen herstellen ohne die echten seriellen Ports zu belegen. Mit dem COM Port Redirector können sie: serielle Ports für eingehende Verbindungen freigeben, den Port mit entfernten Hosts verbinden oder Ports über UDP Verbindungen gemeinsam Nutzen. Seit der Version 7.1 hat der COM Port Redirector ein völlig neues Interface, welches das einfache Erstellen und Verwalten von Verbindungen erlaubt. Die Verwaltung beinhaltet eine benutzerfreundliche Visualisierung und noch mehr.
