ICL-Icons Extractor ist ein vollwertiges Tool, um Symbole aus jeder Quelle zu suchen oder zu extrahieren. Die Extrahierung kann aus Dateien, Ordnern, Icon-Bibliotheken, Archiven oder Websammlungen erfolgen. Darüber hinaus können Symbole von Windows Vista extrahiert und gespeichert werden. ICL-Icon Extractor extrahiert Symbole von ICO, CUR, ANI, EXE, ICL, DLL, SCR, IL, NIL, DCR, RES, OCX und anderen Bibliotheken. Extrahierte Symbole werden in gesonderten ICC Symbolsammlungen mit der Quelle gespeichert, in denen sie problemlos sortierbar, verschiebbar und in unterschiedlichen Formaten sichtbar sind, darunter 16x16, 32x32, 48x48, monochrom, 16 Farben, 256 Farben oder True Color. Das Programm ermöglicht den Symbolexport in die Formate ICO, PNG, JPG, CUR, GIF, XPM und BMP, die Archivierung der Symbole in ZIP-Dateien, die Löschung doppelter Symbole und die Separierung von Symbolbibliotheken in individuelle Symboldateien. ICL-Icon Extractor bietet eine einfache Lösung, Ihren Windows Desktop mit neuen, selbstgewählten Symbolen optisch anzupassen. Die Anpassung der Symbole ist mit der Funktion Customize Windows Icons möglich, die schneller und praktischer als die von Windows gestellte Methode ist. Symbole von Desktop, Startmenü, Laufwerken und Ordnern können problemlos geändert werden. Weiterhin können Größe und Farbtiefe der Symbole sowie der Abstand dieser in einem Klick angepasst werden.
